Majors & Programs

The Palm Desert Campus of CSUSB offers a number of outstanding academic programs, and our aim is to give our Coachella Valley students ready access to courses through scheduling at convenient evening and weekend times, and by offering many courses in an online mode. We offer 10 Bachelor’s degree programs and 10 Master’s degree or Credential programs. As the attractive new campus for California State University, San Bernardino we work closely with our academic departments to ensure our classes are offered to place students’ success first.

At Palm Desert Campus you will enjoy a variety of approaches to learning. For instance, approximately 15% of our courses are distance learning classes. This means that classes are joined through interactive closed circuit television between San Bernardino and Palm Desert, allowing students at either location to learn and participate in class without the hassle of a long commute. We also offer online classes where students communicate with the instructor and other students learning in a digital, online format. While Palm Desert embraces these instructional technologies, traditional, face-to-face instruction dominates and makes for a comfortable small campus atmosphere where close interactions between and among faculty and students is the norm.
